Hyderabad: Medchal Police arrested a couple which was involved in a theft case.
According to the details, Srinivas Rao alias Charan (23) and his wife Rajya Lakshmi (27) were arrested by the police. This couple had snatched two tolas of “Mangalsutra” from the neck of their previous house owner, Jaiamma on the night of 13th December. The woman was strangled with a rope.
Police was in search of the accused. It found them wandering in suspicious condition near Medchal Market.
Police reported that both the wife and husband were the tenants of the victim earlier. The victim had shunted them out a few days back after which they executed this plan.
