Couple selling ganja in the city arrested

Hyderabad: Commissioner Task Force West Zone team arrested a couple who was in possession of ganja. Jagandara Raja Rao alias Prasad, 26, and his wife, J. Laxmi, 23 hail from Visakhapatnam and work as agriculture workers. They noticed that people at their native place are growing ganja and selling it at high prices thus making easy money.

Hence they also decided to produce ganja and sell it in the city for Rs 3,000 per kg. They brought 16 kg ganja to the city on Thursday with the help of Bheemanna and Jyothi. The arrested persons were trying to sell ganja to Balu Singh R/O Begum Bazaar. Task Force team arrested the couple and recovered 16 kg ganja.
