Earlier Vineet Dhanda, the Heera Group Counsel had argued before the court that the act of freezing all the bank accounts is contrary to the law.
Finding fault with the prosecution’s claim of diverting the funds, the defence lawyer contended before the session judge that the alleged embezzled amount in the specific case registered by the Central Crime Station(CCS) is only 25 lakhs where-as the police have frozen all the a/c which has the balance of crores of rupees
After hearing the arguments of the public prosecutor and the defence lawyer, on Thursday, the metropolitan session judge at Nampally reserved the order till November 5th.
