CPI Narayana vows to defeat BJP in LS polls

Hyderabad: CPI national secretary Dr K. Narayana here on Friday alleged that ruling BJP at the Centre was trying to win the upcoming Lok Sabha elections by playing communal politics. He said the BJP-led NDA Government did not accept the demand of the Opposition parties to send the Triple Talaq issue to the Select Committee of the members of both Houses of Parliament.

Addressing at the three-day conference of party’s Bihar State committee, Narayana said although they felt very bad for the defeat of the party in the Assembly elections held in five States in the country, the CPI leader said the defeat of the communal BJP in its three party-ruled States made them happy.

Highlighitng the different reports of international agencies like World Bank, he said the country had topped in the list of crimes against women and added that it had also ranked number 3 in the list of richest people of the world. He said the party would explore all options to defeat the communal BJP in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections.
