CPI resents PVP Comment on Special Status to AP

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh CPI Secretary K. Ramakrishna today condemned the remarks of Potluri Vara Prasad, YSRCP candidate from Vijayawada saying that “special status to AP was a boring subject”.

In a pressnote here today, Ramakrishna said PVP lacks awareness about State development, people’s welfare. PVP was appointed as an MP candidate by Jaganmohan Reddy was not proper. Ramakrishna also lashed out at PVP saying he was not eligible to talk politics. Ramakrishna said for the past five years the Andhra people were fighting relentlessly for special category status for the State but PVP was insulting the Andhra people’s sentiments. He reiterated that PVP’s comments reveal his ignorance.

As PVP was not respecting people’s sentiments, the people should reject him through their votes. He suggested to YS Jaganmohan Reddy to replace PVP with another candidate in Vijayawada immediately if he was committed to special status to AP.
