CPM state secretary Madhu said that his party cannot work with TDP for special category status (SCS) to Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking to media here today, the CPM leader said BJP and TDP should own responsibility for injustice done to Andhra Pradesh. He said cases were filed against our party leaders earlier when we fought for SCS. The CPM has asked several times to call an all party meeting. But never organized the meeting. Hence we informed them that our party can not fight along with TDP for SCS. However, Madhu said we will continue to fight on our own for the cause.
The CPM leader said Andhra Pradesh was subjected to a great injustice. He alleged that the Act which was enacted in parliament was implemented. It would have better had the ruling party organised all party meeting during last four years to mount pressure on the centre, he opined.(NSS)
