Brothels raided, 14 women rescued

(Siasat News): Cyberabad police has conducted raids at various brothels situated in different colonies and rescued 14 women and girls and arrested 13 pimps.

A notification of Cyberabad police said that it had received vital tip-off from reliable sources and the special team immediately came into action and conducted raids at brothels being run in Chaitanyapuri, Saroornagar, Medipally, Naredmet and Malkajgiri.

Further investigations are on.

Gang of minors busted, 14 bikes seized

(Siasat News): The crime staff of Gopalpuram police has busted a 4-member gang comprised of minor boys. Police said that the gang was involved in the theft of 14 bikes of different makes.

Police has arrested the kingpin of the gang Shashi Kumar and his three other minor accomplices and recovered 14 stolen bikes, a laptop and other articles.

Woman ends life in Medpally

(Siasat News): A woman committed suicide in Medpally. Police said that the deceased Shailaja, 40, was not keeping well for quite some time and worried about her deteriorating health.

Yesterday, she took the extreme step and jumped into a water sump. She was the wife of one Srinivas of Boduppal.

Though she was under treatment but there was no improvement in her health condition. Medpally police has registered a case and further investigations are on.

Student dies in train accident

(Siasat News): A man died in a train accident occurred near Arts College. According to railway police, one Vijayendra, 21, was the student of B. com in a college situated in Narayanguda.

The deceased was the resident of M K Nagar near Osmania University. Yesterday, he was hit by a fast train while he was crossing the railway tracks between Jame Osmania and Sitafalmandi railway stations that proved fatal.

Railway police is further investigating.
