Murder mystery solved

(Siasat News): Rajendranagar and CSS Cyberabad police have nabbed a gang involved in the murder of an unidentified woman.

Police was in the lookout for the gang since last three months and ultimately succeeded but the identity of the murdered woman is still not ascertained.

In the meantime, DSP Shamshabad Padmaja confirmed the arrest of the notorious 6-member gang during a press conference comprised of Yusuf, Anwar, Ghafoor, Mubeen, Azam Khan and Ameer residing in and around Kishan Bagh.

She said that after the recovery of the dead body police was in the lookout for the gang but it remained clueless.

Police formed a special team to nab the gang and after the untiring efforts, the gang was nabbed. The gang members, in the month of September, had consumed toddy in a joint and later wanted to quench their sexual thirst.

In order to do so, they took a woman along with them, had sex and later brutally killed her. Police is yet to ascertain the identity of the woman.

Home guard arrested for harassing lovers

(Siasat News): Police has arrested a home guard and his accomplice for allegedly harassing and extorting money from the lover couples.

Following the complaint of two couples, Meerpet police arrested home guard Suresh attached to Saroornagar police along with his accomplice Srinivas and seized 6 grams gold and a cellphone from their possession.

They used to harass lover couples in Gurrramguda and Badingpet and extorted them.

One dies in train accident

(Siasat News): A man died in a train accident occurred in old city.

According to Kachiguda railway police, the deceased Narsimha Rao, 71, a retired employee and resident of Lal Darwaza, was crossing the railway tracks between Uppuguda and Yakutpura railway stations when he was hit by a speeding train that proved fatal.

Railway police is further investigating.

Dead body found in Meerpet

(Siasat News): Meerpet police has found the dead body of a man from the road in suspicious circumstances lying near a shop.

On a tip-off police immediately came into action and recovered the dead body identified as that of 56-year-old M S Rao.

In its preliminary investigation police said that the deceased was the resident of Chaitanyapuri but the cause of his death is yet to be ascertained.

A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
