Hyderabad: Principal Secretary of Municipal Administration and Urban Development, Mr. Arvind Kumar advised people to grow grass on the roofs of the houses.
He further told that Govt. has approved a plan to encourage the house owners to grow grass on the roofs. It will help keep the houses cool.
Mr. Arvind Kumar was addressing a workshop at Vishveshwarayya Bhavan, Khairatabad yesterday.
He appealed to the people to adopt this method in order to reduce the electricity bills. It helps maintain the atmosphere green and cool. Heat could be minimized is this way.
He said that Govt. will encourage people to grow grass on roofs.
