Lucknow: ‘Dastango’ Ankit Chadha drowned in a lake in Pune on Thursday. 30-year-old, Ankit was probably the youngest storyteller of the country. Ankit’s untimely death was a severe blow to the art of ‘Dastangoi’.
Ankit hailed from Delhi however he had a deep connection with Lucknow. He held many performances with Lucknow’s first modern Dastango, Himanshu Bajpai.
Ankit was to perform in Pune on May 12.
