Defeat Mahakutami, Harish tells people

Hyderabad: Caretaker Minister T Harish Rao and former deputy Speaker Padma Devender Reddy today appealed to people to vote for the TRS for giving waters for irrigation as voting for the Congress-led Mahakutami will give them tears.

At a TRS activists meeting in Medak district today, Harish Rao said the Congress men were coming to villages when the elections are due to be held. The farmers will get waters for their crops if they vote for the KCR leadership at the hustings or if they vote for the Congress, they will get tears, he cautioned.

Harish also flayed TTDP leader L Ramana for taking Chandrababu’s diktats and also TPCC chief for standing before the TDP chief at the AP Bhavan in Delhi. The Congress has patched up with its rival TDP to fight against the TRS and Chandrababu cannot stall the completion of Kaleshwaram project, which is lifeline of North Telangana, he said. He also expressed displeasure at the Congress for trying to stall the projects, even as KCR regime was spending huge funds for Kaleshwaram which will irrigate 70,000 acres in Medak segment.

The TRS supremo KCR offered Rs 100 crore for Ghanapuram project, which was able to supply waters to the tail-end crops. Only the Congress was unhappy for being jobless while all sections of people are happy with the welfare schemes, he said. He ridiculed the Congress leaders for declaring that they would stall the development programs of the TRS regime. Harish Rao said the TRS, if voted to power, will bring more welfare schemes and develop the State. If given power, the Mahakutami will dump the people of their facilities and stall the projects, he said. “Let us win 10 seats in Medak and gift them to KCR in the elections”, he said.
