New Delhi: A 35-year-old tutor sexually assaulted a 14-year-old boy at his home in east Delhi following which the accused was arrested, said the police.
The accused tutor had been teaching the boy for the last couple of months and according to the police, on Friday he took the boy inside the bathroom and touched him inappropriately during the game of hide and seek.
Senior police officer Meghna Yadav stated that the boy’s parents were not at home at the time of the incident. Later when his parents returned home he narrated the incident to his parents following which they approached police station and registered a case.
The DCP asserted that a case was registered under relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act on Friday and the accused tutor was arrested on Saturday.
