Delhi High Court calls PNB Scam case sketchy, issues notice to ED

New Delhi: Observing no clarity in the scam case, Delhi High Court on Wednesday issued a notice to ED on the plea of absconding Billionaire Jeweller Nirav Modi.

The Delhi High Court issued a notice to Enforcement Directorate observing under what authority the ED moved to search the properties.

The High Court calling the case “sketchy”, said, “(The court) wants to wait to see what the ED has to say because Vijay Aggarwal (lawyer of Nirav Modi) himself doesn’t seem to be too sure of the facts of the case.”

Later addressing the media, Nirav Modi’s lawyer Vijay Aggarwal told that the High Court calling the case sketchy issued a notice to ED asking them to submit all the present documents.

He also said, “We told them that this is the basis of our petition that there is no information.”

The Court scheduled the case for further hearing on 19 March, Zee News reported.
