Delhi: Pub’s License canceled over shooting incident

New Delhi: A pub’s license was canceled by Delhi’s licensing branch after a man was reportedly shot inside a pub on 30 December.

Initially, the Police suspected the 30-year-old man was shot by another person inside Delhi’s Greater Kailash pub over an argument at the pub but further investigation revealed the two men got into the brawl over a parking issue that happened in November.

According to a senior Police officer, an inquiry has been launched into the shooting incident since the pub was operating beyond 1 am.

Five officers of M Block Market, GK-I were sent to district lines to explain the reason of their misconduct which led to the shooting incident said Romil Baaniya, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South).

The DCP added show-cause notices have been issued to the SHO of Greater Kailash PS along with division staff to explain the reason to their misconduct reported Times Now.
