Delhiites open their heart for Kashmiris

New Delhi: While the protests, processions, dharnas and rallies are conducted across the country against the terror attack in Pulwama, the Delhiites have opened their doors for Kashmiri students and traders. The Kashmiris residing in other parts of the country are today living in a state of fear. They fear ill-treatment and an atmosphere of hate is witnessed in several educational institutions.

Kashmiris who sell shawl etc. were beaten at Patna and other places; their goods were looted. In Haryana, several Kashmiris were asked to vacate the houses by the house owners.

However, Delhiites responded to the Kashmiris with love. They openly announced on social media that their doors are open for Kashmiris. They said, if students feel fear anywhere, they can stay with them.

Delhiites have posted their house addresses on social media, while some said they could be directly reached by Kashmiri students through text message.
