Muzaffarnagar: Hundreds of activists of Rashtriya Lok Dal today staged dharna and blocked traffic for some time at Mahavir Chowk in protest against the recent demonetisation move by the government.
The activists led by the district president of RLD Ajit Rathi staged a dharna (demonstration) and disrupted traffic.
They alleged that people are facing problems due to shortage of cash.
A memorandum has also been sent to President Pranab Mukherjee, said Rathi.
