Hyderabad: Election commission accorded conditional permission for depositing the cheques under Rythu Bandhu Scheme into the bank accounts of the farmers.
It has imposed a condition that no new cases should be entertained. Only those farmers should be given this benefit.
It may be mentioned that some political parties had made an objection that ban should be imposed on the distribution of sarees in connection with Bathakamma festival and also the amounts to be given to farmers.
State Election Commission had referred this matter to Central Election Commission which issued these orders. It may be noted that TRS Govt. had introduced this scheme this year for giving the subsidy of Rs 4000 per acre to the farmers.
IT is a unique scheme which was launched by TRS Govt. TRS welcomed the judgment of Central Election Commission.
