21-yr-old Hyd man commits suicide over ‘being jobless’, leaves video message

Hyderabad: Depressed over not getting job, a 21-year-old Hyderabad man allegedly committed suicide in Hyderabad’s Saroornagar colony and left a recorded video message, police said on Thursday. He ended his life on Wednesday night by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in his rented room.

The police said that the man had attended an interview on Wednesday and was in search for a job. His friends, who were away, found him hanging after they reached the room, police said. In the video footage, he can be seen climbing on a chair to hang himself and then recording the video message after getting down, where he said ‘he wanted to end his life’.

However, it is not completely clear, why the youth ended his life. Citing investigations, police said the man was depressed and was in search of employment, a Deccan Chronicle report said.
