Hyderabad: General Secretary of All India Muslim Front, Mr. Gulam Mohammed told that thousands of Muslim women are subjected to the atrocities of their husbands and the cases of divorce and maintenance are on the increase. In order to eradicate the atrocities, all India Muslim Front had successfully campaigned against section 498(A). In the same manner the front is starting another campaign. The first meeting of the destitute women will be held under the chairmanship of Mr. Mohammed Osman Shaheed, Senior Advocate of High Court and President of All India Muslim Front. Ms. Masrat Jahan Begum, President of Ladies Wing and Ms. Aqueela Khamooshi, member, All India Muslim Personal Law Board will participate in the conference as Guests of Honour. The conference will be addressed by Mr. Mohammed Osman Shaheed and other Islamic Scholars. The date, time and place of the conference will be notified soon.
