Hyderabad: TRS MP B Vinod Kumar today urged the Centre to recognize Rajeev Rahadari as a national highway and take necessary measures to start the works.
Raising the issue in the Lok Sabha during zero hour, the MP urged the BJP Government to accord national highway status to Rajiv Rahadari and commence works without delay.
He said expansion of the road as national highway will prevent continuous fatal accidents being taken place on the road between Hyderabad and Ramagundam via Karimnagar. There is a need for developing this road as the national highway to check the accidents.
