Hyderabad: Mr. Raja Singh, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA representing Goshamahal Assembly Constituency suffered head injuries at Jumerat Bazar on Wednesday night.
Earlier, Mr. Singh claimed that he received the injuries after police attacked him and his volunteers.

However, Mr. A. R. Srinivas tweeted a video and wrote, “MLA Raja singh hit himself with a stone on his head and caused a self inflicted injury on his head and is falsely alleging that police has caused this injury. DCP West Zone”. The video was also retweeted by Hyderabad City Police.

Reacting on the video, Mr. Singh shared a video message on his twitter account. He also wrote, “I urge @hydcitypolice @CPHydCity have some spine & release all the videos while police laithcharge on my karyakartas & me. Don’t be selective in releasing videos as your department always targeted me. Why Hindu’s are always targeted @TelanganaDGP @HMOIndia”.

According to the report published in Telangana Today, it all started after a group of local residents made an attempt to replace an old statue of Rani Avanti Bai with a new one. After police tried to prevent them from replacing the statue, Mr. Singh and his supporters reached the spot.
