Digvijaya Singh upset as Ramdev’s name missing from fake baba list

New Delhi: Congress leader Digvijaya Singh on Monday said he was disappointed over the missing name of Baba Ramdev from fake baba’s list, which was released by a Hindu religious body.

“Disappointed to find Baba Ramdev’s name missing from the list,” the former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh tweeted.

The Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad, an apex body of Hindu holy men had released a list of 14 ‘fake babas’ on Sunday, Hindustan Times report.

He alleged that Baba Ramdev was conning everyone in the country by selling fake products and labeling them as the original.

“I want to ask the respectable Parishad if Manu Smriti allows any one wearing saffron clothes from indulging in business,” the Congress leader said in another tweet.

He also urged the body to add Baba Ramdev’s name in the list or else he would conclude that its office-bearers too had been influenced by the money Baba Ramdev had hoarded.
