Hyderabad: Facebook-owned messaging service WhatsApp had introduced many features in the app to improve users’ experience. Now, the app has introduced ‘Dismiss as Admin’, ‘High Priority Notifications’ features.
According to the report published in DC, ‘High Priority Notifications’ feature is similar to pinned chats whereas ”Dismiss as Admin’ allows group admin to demote other admin of the same group without deleting him/her as a member.
It may be mentioned that earlier, group admin used to delete other admin in order to demote him/her. However, this new feature is only introduced in iOS and Web apps.
By using ‘High Priority Notifications’ feature, users can pin high priority notifications to the top of a mobile phone’s notification.
