Division of Muslim votes: Local political party busy in removing its tarnished image

Hyderabad: Local political party has started its attempts to erase the tarnished image which it got in UP and Maharashtra election since it has cast a bad image in the minds of the voters of Telangana.

After the election results of both the states, it has become evident had it not participated in these states Muslim votes would not have been divided.

The floor leader of the party camped for three weeks and campaigned for Municipal Elections in Maharashtra whereas in Assembly election in UP, party president campaigned for elections through helicopter but when the election results were announced, it was disappointment.

The local Muslims of Maharashtra and UP are irritated that the participation of local political party in elections reduced Muslim representation in Assembly. Social media and analytical reviews are publishing the remarks of the Muslims. Many secular parties of UP decided to maintain distance from it to avoid division of secular and Muslim votes.

The ruling TRS party is also forced to think whether the friendship of its ally would be beneficial to it in the next elections or not. The scar of division of Muslims votes is so deep that the leadership of local political party has directed its cadre to contact the voters and try to remove this image.
