Congress senior leader and former minister DK Aruna today questioned the TRS government as to why the government applied protocol only to IT & Municipal Administration Minister KT Ramarao forgetting City Mayor Bonthu Rammohan.
Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, DK Aruna said a women Minister should have participated in the Global Entrepreneurship Summit-2017 had there been a woman in the KCR cabinet as 52 percent women representatives were participating in the Summit.
The State government was not sincere towards women, she fumed and alleged that the State government launched the Metro Rail project after delaying it for two years and escalating the project cost. She also accused Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao of deliberately delaying the launching of the Metro Rail project in the name of alignment change thinking that the Congress might get credit. (NSS)
