Hyderabad: In a strange incident, a doctor herself committed suicide vexed with her ill health. Dr. K. Rupa Devi (29) was the wife of Dr. Srikant. Dr. Rupa Devi had undergone a major surgery of her backbone in which a safety pin was intruded into the backbone. After this surgery, the safety pin was removed but due to the surgical operation, the lady doctor was finding it difficult to carry on her medical practice.
Vexed with her ill health, the doctor took this extreme step and committed suicide by jumping from her apartment. Banjara Hills Police registered a case and started investigation.
