Mumbai: Police arrested doctor under POCSO Act for allegedly molesting 14-year-old girl, daughter of his neighbour. This incident took place in the area which falls under the jurisdiction of Khar Police.
According to the report published in Times of India, the accused is identified as a 63-year-old doctor. He allegedly molested the girl when she came to take spare keys of her house.
It may be mentioned that her mother had handed over the keys to the doctor.
As per the details of the case, when the girl went to take the keys, the doctor hugged and kissed her.
Later, the girl narrated the incident to her mother. After knowing the details, her mother took her to the police station and lodged a complaint.
Police registered a case under relevant sections of POCSO.
