Dost dost na raha: Here’s what Omar Abdullah says on Ram Madhav’s comment

Srinagar: Reacting sarcastically to the remarks by BJP senior leader Ram Madhav, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) isn’t among BJP’s friends. Junior Abdullah tweeted “Dost dost na raha…….. let’s see if these “friends” have the courage to admit their pre-poll alliance or do they want to deliver a PDP-BJP type surprise. And before you ask – no @JKNC_ isn’t one of these “friends”.”

Omar Abdullah was responding to Ram Madhav’s comment in which he had said that the BJP would form a stable government in J&K following the elections, along with “some friends” whom he left unnamed. Abdullah reiterated that his Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) is not in any form of pre-poll alliance with the BJP.

It must be noted that Omar Abdullah’s father Farooq Abdullah had been present at the United Opposition rally hosted by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata on Saturday. The leaders made speeches stating their goal of removing Narendra Modi as PM in the coming Lok Sabha polls.

In his speech, Farooq Abdullah too hit out at the BJP on various issues including religious discrimination.
