A 23-year-old woman committed suicide allegedly due to harassment for additional dowry.
The victim, Nazmeen Begum, resorted to the extreme step by hanging to the ceiling at her residence in Jamali Kunta of Tolichowki on Saturday night. She was married to one Shaik Zameer in 2011 and the couple had one daughter and a son. She was allegedly being harassed for additional dowry by Zaheer and his relatives which consequently drove her to suicide. Police have registered a case under Section 304B against Zaheer and began investigations.(INN)
