Hyderabad: In Humayun Nagar and Miyanpur Police Station limits, in separate incidents of dowry harassments, two women committed suicide.
According to Humayun Nagar Police, Santoshi (23) was married in February 2017. Her husband in intoxicated condition used to harass her for getting dowry. Vexed up with the harassments by her husband and in-laws, she committed suicide.
Later, the brother of the woman lodged a complaint in Humayun Nagar Police Station.
In another incident, Sampurna (24) was vexed up with the harassment of her husband for getting dowry. She committed suicide.
In both the cases, police registered complaints and started investigations.
