Hyderabad: Vexed with dowry harassment, a woman committed suicide. This incident took place at Maylardevpally Police Station limits.
According to the report, Srilatha (25) poured kerosene on her body and set herself ablaze. She was rushed to hospital where she died during the treatment.
According to the details, Srilatha was married in 2014. Her father gave 22 tolas of gold, Rs. 10 lakh cash, a plot of land, motorcycle and other necessary articles of daily use.
Her husband was insisting her to get two more tolas of gold as dowry. Vexed with this, she took this extreme step.
Maylardevpally Police registered a case and started investigations.
