Hyderabad: Eighteen persons were booked for violating traffic rules. Hyderabad Traffic Police found them driving in the drunken condition in Jangammet area.
Some persons complained that those with beards were checked through breath analyzer though they were not in drunken condition. They also complained that the other persons coming out of the nearby bar were not checked.
Mr. Narendra Rao, Inspector of Traffic Police, Falaknuma clarified that cases were booked against 9 motorcyclists and 9 auto drivers without any discrimination.
