Du-ba-Du: Large number of Muslim girls crossed marriageable age – Here’re the possible reasons

Hyderabad: It has become very difficult to find a suitable matrimonial match for Muslim girls. The rich, the middle class and the poor families have lost their sleeps.

Realizing this problem, Siasat Urdu Daily launched Du-ba-Du Matrimonial Alliances program after careful thought.

These thoughts were expressed by Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, Managing Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily while addressing 5th session of Du-ba-Du program at Kareem Nagar. This program was organized by Muslim Behbood Committee of Kareem Nagar. Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan was invited to attend the program as Chief Guest.

Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan pointed out that in Hyderabad City, there are more than 30000 girls who have crossed the marriageable age. Most of these girls have pursued Higher Education. They are getting matrimonial alliances of less qualified boys which they are not accepting. Another reason is that the parents of the girls can’t afford heavy demands of dowry. There is a large number of girls who have got modern higher education but they did not get Islamic education as a result of which they are seeking matrimonial alliances with non-Muslim boys. It is a tragic situation for the Muslim community.

He congratulated Muslim Bahbood Committee of Kareemnagar for its efforts to make marriage simpler. Mufti Younus Qasimi, President of Jamiatul Ulema of Kareem Nagar, Mufti Ghiyasuddin, Vice President of the organization and Mr. Syed Mohiuddin, President of Muslim Behbood Committee addressed the gathering.
