Hyderabad: Minorities Development Forum of Siasat Urdu Daily organized 78th Du-ba-Du (Face-to-Face) Matrimonial Alliance Program successfully at Royal Regency Garden, Asif Nagar on Sunday 8th October. Mr. Abid Siddiqui, President of MDF presided over the program.
Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Abid Siddiqui told that religiosity and good character should be the criteria for selecting the girls. The objective of Siasat Urdu Daily for conducting such program is to eradicate dowry system and to avoid un-Islamic rituals. He advised the parents not to waste money on musical programs, busting of crackers and other extravagant activities.
Despite heavy rainfall, a large number of parents and guardians attended the program. Registration started at 10 a.m. Green ribbons were given to the relatives of the girls whereas yellow ribbons for the parents of boys. 45 boys and 90 girls got registered for matrimonial alliances which include medical, engineering and other graduates. There was a separate counter for the second marriage.
On this occasion, he applauded the services of Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily and Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, Managing Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily. Mr. Syed Asghar Husain conducted the program. Mr. Ahmed Siddiqui Mukesh rendered Nath-e-Shareef. Parents and guardians congratulated Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, Managing Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily who was present in the function. Mr. Siddiqui thanked the proprietors of Royal Regency Garden for their cooperation.
