Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali released the book ‘Muraqqa-e-Hyderabad’ authored by Allama Aijaz Farruq at Nehru Auditorium on Monday.
The pictorial book, Muraqqa-e-Hyderabad, covers the history of Qutub Shahi and Asif Jahi dynasties along with the rich cultural history of Hyderabad.
Allama Aijaz Farruq, the eminent scholar and senior historian of Hyderabad in his profound research has discovered and unveiled the hidden facts in this book. His unique style of writing makes the text a pleasant reading. The book contains 228 rare photos and paintings along with the text to make the document a visual treat.
The book has been published by the Telangana State Urdu Academy.
Former Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya, Advisor to TS Govt AK Khan, Minorities Welfare Department Secretary Syed Omer Jaleel and Urdu Academy Director and Prof SA Shukoor were also present in the book release function. (INN)
