Dy CM Srihari meets President

Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari today called on President Ramnath Kovind at Rashtrapathi Bhavan in Delhi. He apprised the President of educational programs in the new State of Telangana by giving priority to offer education to girls from lower to higher level.

Srihari informed the president that with a focus on education to girls in the State, the TRS government has launched some 470 Gurukul Schools. Srihari also said 53 residential degree colleges were started in the State for women of SC and ST categories. He stated the government was according top priority to provide education to the girls with all facilities.

The President asked Srihari to shift his focus to increase enrolment of girls in the schools and colleges. TRS MP Sitharam Naik was also present. (NSS)
