Dy CM’s grandson makes representation for enhancement of Muslim quota

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali’s grandson submitted his representation to the BC Commission on Monday. Mr. Mahmood Ali is playing key role in inducing TRS minority leaders to make representation with BC Commission.

Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali’s son Mr. Mohammed Azam Ali is on his visit to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah. His son Mr. Furqan Ali appeared in the BC Commission hearing and submitted memorandum in favour of Muslim reservations. TRS leader Arshad Ali Khan and others accompanied him. Furqan Ali told the commission that Muslims are backward in every field in Telangana hence enhancement of Muslim quota from present 4 pc is highly inevitable. He claimed that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is serious in providing reservations to Muslims that is the reason why he formed BC Commission. Mr. Furqan requested the commission to submit a comprehensive report which can guarantee Muslims’ development.
