Hyderabad: The Election Commission officials on Thursday seized Rs 50 lakh from the possession of an aide of Secunderabad Cantonment candidate from Congress Sarve Satyanarayana. They also seized party’s publicity material from his car.
According to the police, Balaji, who is a close follower of Sarve was transporting Rs 50 lakh from a Hawala business man Dileep from Begum Bazaar in his car. The police intercepted the car and searched it at Nampally and found the cash in his possession.
