Hyderabad: Advisor to Government for Minority Affairs, A K Khan told the press persons on Sunday that efforts are on to get a Saudi Consulate in Hyderabad. He informed that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has been pursuing the issue with the Union Government.
Mr. Khan claimed that Hyderabad and Saudi Arabia have several other links besides having cultural ties. He revealed that around 3.80 lakh Telanganites work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Hence the State government is keen to set up the Saudi Consulate in the city.
