On one side the Minority Welfare Department is facing staff crunch while on the other side the employees of MWD are up in arms against each other. It is said that the two groups of employees lodged complaint against each other with Chief Minister and Secretary level and the complaint was lodged with fake names.
According to sources the services of Home Guard was regularise in Hajj Committee in the past, on which some employees objected and termed it as violation of rules. Due to mutual conflict the two groups reached government with their complaints as a result the performance of the institution is getting affected.
Secretary Minority Welfare has taken serious note of the situation and warned employees involved in such activities. Special Officer Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor has also termed such conflicts, groupism and complaints against each other as destructive for the institutions and directed the employees to gear up for Hajj season 2016 instead.
