Ensure respectful life to farmers, Kodanda tells KCR

Stating that the separate Telangana was achieved not for the sake of anyone, TJAC Chairman Prof. M Kodandaram has demanded the state government to initiate steps to lead the farmers’ respectful life.

Addressing the Rythu JAC Conference here on Tuesday, Kodandaram asked the government to give seeds on subsidy to the farmers’ of 500 villages in the district. Opining that the problems of the farmers would be cleared if the government decides, Kodandaram expressed concern saying that there was no job guarantees to the children of farmers though they make their children pursue education.

He alleged that there was no response from the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao though the farmers cried over their problems at him. He wished that the farmers’ movement should come similar to Maharashtra Rythu movement held recently. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi was behaving negligently towards the problems of the farmers, he lamented and informed that the JAC will take a strong decision on to raise the farmers’ problems very soon.
