Bengaluru: Escorts Construction Equipment on Wednesday unveiled its pick-n-carry crane at the 9th International Construction Equipment and Technology Trade Fair (Excon 2017) here.
“The CT Smart 15 crane, with soil compactor in 12-ton class, has anti-toppling and anti-lifting features for enhanced safety on the site,” said Escorts’ construction and material handling equipment making arm.
Developed in synch with the central government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative, the crane has turning radius of 6 metres and provides auto de-rated load chart.
According to company’s Chief Executive Ajay Mandahr, the equipment was BS-III emission norms compliant and competitive at operating cost.
“Our earth movers with Knorr driving lines is targeted at customer demand, both corporate and retail, fuelled by new wave of government driven infrastructure activities in country,” he said.
The company is also showcasing at the five-day event its product range, including material handling, soil compaction and earth moving equipment.
The expo-cum-conference is being held at the Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre in partnership with the Confederation of Indian Industry.
