London: Europe’s main stock markets diverged at the start of trading on Thursday, with London slightly higher and Frankfurt down.
London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index gained 0.1 percent to 7,649.75 points compared with the close on Wednesday.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt’s DAX 30 fell 0.3 percent to 13,374.38 points and the Paris CAC 40 was flat at 5,493.81.
