Srinagar: Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader Prof Saifuddin Soz said that The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) has failed to help women victims of triple talaq he alleges that AIMPLB has been functioning arbitrarily and totally undemocratically.

In a statement here on Friday afternoon, the former chief of J&K PCC said now that Parliament has declared ‘Triple Divorce in one-go’ as criminal offence, the Board must do a serious thinking on its future.

The Board had been functioning arbitrarily and totally undemocratically all these years, leaving the victim Muslim women to fend for themselves in courts, miserably and helplessly,” he said.
