Hyderabad: Addl. DCP of Task Force, Mr. S. Chaitanya Kumar told that a person was arrested from Saroor Nagar for providing fake Ph.D. degrees without the candidates submitting the theses.
According to the details, police arrested S. Nagar Raju alias Surya Pratap Rana alias Arya Bhatta Raj, resident of Saroor Nagar. He was allegedly involved in the preparation of fake Ph.D. Degrees of various international universities.
Police informed that he was involved in four cases of cheating. The accused confessed that he is a resident of Vishakhapatnam. After cheating people there, he shifted to Hyderabad and changed his name.
Police seized 25 fake Ph.D. degrees, certificates of doctors, two master’s degree certificates, two laptops, two colour printers and scanners. He was handed over to Santosh Nagar Police for taking further action.
