Hyderabad: To celebrate 25 years of its establishment in June 2017, FIITJEE has announced ‘IIT Genius’ scholarships all over India. Ten students each from Class VIII, IX, X, XI, XII will be bestowed with the Genius title and they can get their education at any IIT-sponsored by FIITJEE. The scholarship will cover all institutional expenses, including hostel, tuition fee, books fee and reasonable personal expenses.
Selection of students will be based on IIT Genius Test followed by interview where top 30 students from each Class VIII, IX, X, & XI will be called for interview at Delhi/Hyderabad. One doesn’t have to be a FIITJEE student to avail this scholarship and award or even join a course at FIITJEE after the award.
According to Director FIIT JEE, the test will be conducted on August 27, 2017 across India. The last date to register for the test is August 24. Students aspiring to take the test can get their registrations done either by paper application mode or go for online payment mode. First phase results for class X, XI, XII will be announced on September 2 and for class VIII and IX on September 3. Interviews will be held in Delhi on 7th and 8th of September while in Hyderabad on September 9 &10. The final result will be announced on September 15.
