First batch of Haj pilgrims leaves for Saudi Arabia

New Delhi: The first batch of Hajj pilgrims left for the Holy pilgrimage on Saturday from Indira Gandhi International Airport. They were flagged off by Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi. Naqvi told that all the preparations to ensure smooth pilgrimage have been completed.

Transport minister Kailash Gehlot, Chairman Hajj Committee of India Chaudhry Mahboob Ali Qaiser, Chairman Delhi Hajj Committee and MLA Mohammed Ishraq Khan, Secretary Minority Ministry A Loekham, Joint Secretary Jaan Aalam, member Hajj Committee of India and Chief Coordinator Delhi Embarkation Dr Monis Ansari, Irfan Ahmed, Hasan Baqer Kazmi, and others were present on the occasion.

410 pilgrims left for Madinah through the first batch. 128702 pilgrims from across India will go the Holy pilgrimage through Hajj Committee of India.
