Five new medical colleges in the state

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao assured to provide more five new medical colleges in the state.

This will provide 500 more seats in MBBS in the state which gives a boost to the educational and healthcare sector.

The officials of Telangana government will arrive in Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Ramagundam, Jangaon, Karimnagar and Khammam to explore the areas and prepare projects for the construction of medical colleges in the state.

According to a report in The Hans India, two medical colleges in Suryapet and Nalgonda will add up 150 seats for the academic year 2019-2020.

According to officials, the government is aiming to offer 2000 medical seats in the coming years.
