Founders of Islamic Finance firm ‘Amanah’ meet Telangana’s Dy Chief Minister

Hyderabad: The co-founders of Amanah Islamic Finance called on Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali at his office on Friday in Hyderabad.

Asad Ansari and Waqar Mirza congratulate Mahmood Ali for becoming the very first Muslim Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana. They further discuss the scopes and potential of Islamic Finance to draw foreign investment into the country in general and Telangana in particular where Muslims have a moderate share of population.

Amanah Islamic Finance is a mortgage manager with an Australian credit licence that was formed principally to address the absence of a Shariah compliant home financing solution that meets the standards of globally recognised Shariah scholars whilst also complying with Australian laws and credit regulations.

Asad is currently a Director in the international accounting firm, Deloitte in their Financial Services and Investment group and also served as a Special Counsel in the firm’s legal practice, Deloitte Lawyers.

The other co-founder and Executive Director Waqar Mirza has had many years of experience in Islamic finance working with some of the world’s leading Islamic finance scholars to find solutions for the Australian Muslim community which includes the development of innovative home finance and investment products. As an experienced Australian mortgage manager he has managed the origination and servicing of more than $400 Million of Islamic home finance from credit assessment to settlement and through to the life of the finance.
