Hyderabad: Task Force Team of Hyderabad City Police arrested four persons who were making an attempt to sell Liras (Turkish currency) which were scrapped.
According to the details furnished by police, T. Venkat Rao (24), U. Naga Venkata Srinivas (21), Pathan Jeelani (34), RTC conductor and Shaik Kale Shah Wali of Guntur obtained Rs. 2.5 lakh currency notes and they were trying to sell 20 lakh Liras. The Task Force Team of Central Zone arrested them and seized the scrapped currency. The team handed them over to Saifabad Police Station for taking further action.
